The U.S. military announced Tuesday that a U.S. fighter aircraft F15 "Eagle" crashed in Libya and that the pilots themselves, including defamation, have been recovered while one is being sought for the second.

The Libyan government announced that the Western coalition forces raids on Tripoli, which continued for the third night in a row, killing more civilians.
He said U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates that the coalition forces make every effort to avoid casualties among civilians, and it is targeting in particular the Libyan radar systems located in areas not densely populated.
Gates also predicted decline in fighting between forces loyal to the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and the armed opposition during the next few days.
