قد تعددت الأساليب والطرق قديماً وحديثاً في العناية بحياة رسول الله –صلى الله عليه وسلم- وسيرته وتقديمها للأمة واضحة جلية؛ إلا أني لما رأيت نيل الكفار منه –صلى الله عليه وسلم- في السنوات الأخيرة وتقصير الكثير منا في الدفاع عنه وعن نصرته؛ أحببت أن أعرض مواقفه المشرقة وصوراً من حياته الفذة بإيجاز؛ من أجل أن تكون من خير ما ينصره ويدافع عنه؛ وقد وضع هذا المختصر في خمسة موضوعات تحت كل واحد منها جملة من النقاط المختصرة، الأول: تعريف به صلى الله عليه وسلم.
الثاني: يتضمن صفاته الخلقية.
الثالث: يتضمن صفاته الخُلُقية.
الرابع: ذكرت فيه بعضاً من أعماله.
الخامس: ضمنته شيئاً من عاداته صلى الله عليه وسلم.
وهذا مما ييسر الاطلاع عليه ومعرفة محتواه بسهولة ويسر من كافة أفراد المجتمع ، ومن ثم يتيسر الاقتداء به والتمثل بأخلاقه وسلوكه، ولعل هذا العمل اليسير يكون لبنة في مشروع أكبر بإذن الله تعالى.
سائلاً المولى عز وجل أن يبارك في أعمالنا وأعمارنا ، وأن يرزقنا حسن التأسي بسيد الخلق –صلى الله عليه وسلم- وامتثال أمره في كل شؤون حياتنا .


التعريف به صلى الله عليه وسلم:

اسمه :
هو محمد بن عبد الله بن عبد المطلب بن هاشم ، وهاشم من قبيلة قريش، وقريش من العرب، والعرب من ذرية إسماعيل عليه السلام، ابن إبراهيم الخليل عليه وعلى نبينا أفضل الصلاة والسلام.
فهو خير أهل الأرض نسباً على الإطلاق ، فقومه أشرف قوم، وقبيلته أشرف قبيلة ،وفخذه أشرف الأفخاذ، وقد كان أعداؤه يشهدون له بعلوّ نسبه فيهم .

ومن أسمائه الثابتة في أحاديث صحيحة:
( محمد، و أحمد ، وعبد الله ، وخاتم النبيين، ونبي الملاحم، والعاقب, والحاشر, والماحي)

ذكره في القرآن:
ذكر النبي –صلى الله عليه وسلم- في القرآن باسمه "محمد" في أربعة مواضع: في سورة آل عمران الآية (144)، والأحزاب الآية (40)، ومحمد الآية (2)، والفتح الآية (29)، وأما "أحمد" فجاءت حكاية عن عيسى عليه السلام في سورة الصف الآية (6).

كنيته: (أبو القاسم).

ولادته :
ولد يوم الإثنين ، الثاني عشر من ربيع الأول في مكة .
عن أبي قتادة –رضي الله عنه- أن رسول الله –صلى الله عليه وسلم - سئل عن صوم يوم الإثنين، فقال: ذاك يوم ولدت فيه) رواه مسلم .
قال ابن القيم (لا خلاف أنه ولد –صلى الله عليه وسلم- بجوف مكة، وأن مولده كان عام الفيل).

والده ووالدته :
والد النبي –صلى الله عليه وسلم-: هو عبد الله؛ وهو المسمى بالذبيح؛ وقد توفي ورسول الله –صلى الله عليه وسلم- جنين في بطن أمه.
أمّ النبي –صلى الله عليه وسلم- هي: آمنة بنت وهب القرشية؛ وقد توفيت ورسول الله –صلى الله عليه وسلم- له من العمر ست سنوات.


نشأته:
نشأ –صلى الله عليه وسلم- يتيماً فكفله جدة عبد المطلب، ثم كفله عمه أبو طالب، وطهره الله عز وجل من دنس الجاهلية فلم يعظم صنماً في عمره قطّ, ولم يحضر مشهداً من مشاهد كفرهم وكانوا يطلبونه لذلك فيمتنع ويعصمه الله تعالى من ذلك، وهذا من لطف الله به أن برأه من كل عيب ومنحه كل خلق جميل.

رضاعه:
أرضعته –صلى الله عليه وسلم- ثويبة مولاة أبي لهب أياماً، ثم أرضعته حليمة بنت أبي ذؤيب السعدية وأقام عندها في بادية بني سعد قرابة أربع سنين.

زوجاته:
هن أمهات المؤمنين، قال ابن القيم: "ولا خلاف أنه –صلى الله عليه وسلم- توفي عن تسع".
وأسماؤهن: عائشة بنت أبي بكر الصديق، وحفصة بنت عمر بن الخطاب، وسودة بنت زمعة، وزينب بنت جحش، وأم سلمة هند بنت أبي أمية، وأم حبيبة رملة بنت أبي سفيان، وميمونة بنت الحارث، وجويرية بنت الحارث، وصفية بنت حيي بن أخطب. رضي الله عنهن جميعاً.

أولاده :
الذكور ثلاثة: القاسم، وعبد الله، وإبراهيم؛ وقد ماتوا صغاراً لم يتجاوزوا السنتين بالاتفاق.
الإناث أربع: زينب، ورقية، وأم كلثوم، وفاطمة؛ وقد أدركن البعثة، ودخلن في الإسلام، وهاجرن مع النبي –صلى الله عليه وسلم-، ومات كل أولاده قبله إلا فاطمة فإنها ماتت بعده بستة أشهر.

بعثته:
لما كمل له -صلى الله عليه وسلم- أربعون سنة أشرق عليه نور النبوة وأكرمه الله برسالته وبعثه إلى خلقه، وجعله رسولاً إلى الناس كافة، فأقام بمكة بعد النبوة ثلاث عشرة سنة يدعو الناس إلى توحيد الله وعبادته وينذرهم الشرك، ثم هاجر إلى المدينة فمكث بها عشر سنين أقام بها دولة الإسلام وأمر الناس ببقية شرائع الدين الحنيف، ثم توفاه الله عز وجل وله من العمر ثلاث وستون سنة.

هجرته:
أقام النبي –صلى الله عليه وسلم- في مكة ثلاث عشرة سنة يدعو الناس إلى الإسلام وعبادة الله وحده لا شريك له، ولما ازداد عناد كفار مكة وتكبرهم عن قبول دعوة الحق، رغب النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم- أن يؤسس دولة الإسلام في المدينة ويقيم شريعة الله في الأرض، فهاجر إليها –صلى الله عليه وسلم- وكان دخوله إياها يوم الإثنين لاثنتي عشرة ليلة خلت من ربيع الأول.
ولكون الهجرة النبوية أعزّ الله بها الإسلام وارتفعت راية الحق؛ فقد رأى عمر –رضي الله عنه- ومن معه من الصحابة أن يكون للمسلمين تاريخاً جديداً يؤرخون به يستعملونه في كتاباتهم.

خصائصه :
خصّ الله نبيه محمداً –صلى الله عليه وسلم- من بين سائر الأنبياء والمرسلين بخصائص منها:
أنه خاتم النبيين، وصاحب المقام المحمود يوم القيامة، وكون رسالته إلى الثقلين الجن والإنس، ونزول القرآن الكريم الذي أذعن لإعجازه الإنس والجن، والإسراء به إلى بيت المقدس والمعراج إلى السموات العلى إلى سدرة المنتهى إلى مستوى سمع فيه صريف الأقلام.
ومن الخصائص التي خصّ الله بها نبيه –صلى الله عليه وسلم - على هذه الأمة: أنها فرضت عليه أشياء لم تفرض على غيره وحرمت عليه أفعال لم تحرم على سائر أمته وحللت له أشياء لم تحلل لهم, ومن أمثلة ذلك: تحريم الزكاة عليه وعلى آله ووجوب التهجد بالليل عليه, والزيادة على أربعة نسوة, وأنه لا يورث.

فضائله:
عن وائلة بن الأسقع –رضي الله عنه- قال: سمعت رسول الله –صلى الله عليه وسلم- يقول: "إن الله عز وجل اصطفى كنانة من ولد إسماعيل عليه السلام, واصطفى قريشاً من كنانة, واصطفى من قريش بني هاشم واصطفاني من بني هاشم" رواه مسلم.
وعن أبي هريرة –رضي الله عنه- قال: "فضلت على الأنبياء بست: أعطيت جوامع الكلم, ونصرت بالرعب, وأحلت لي الغنائم, وجعلت لي الأرض مسجدا وطهورا, وأرسلت إلى الخلق كافة, وختم بي النبيون". متفق عليه.

وفاته:
وتوفي رسول الله –صلى الله عليه وسلم - يوم الاثنين 12/3/11ه وله من العمر ثلاث وستون سنة، ولما توفي دخل عليه أبو بكر –رضي الله عنه- فقبله بين عينيه وقال طبت حياً وميتاً يا رسول الله، ولما أدرج –صلى الله عليه وسلم- في أكفانه وُضع على شفير القبر ثم دخل الناس أرسالاً يصلون عليه فوجاً فوجاً لا يؤمهم أحد، ثم دفن –صلى الله عليه وسلم-، قال أنس –رضي الله عنه-: " لما كان اليوم الذي دخل فيه رسول الله –صلى الله عليه وسلم- المدينة أضاء منها كل شيء، فلما كان اليوم الذي مات فيه أظلم منها كل شيء، وما نفضنا أيدينا من التراب إلا وقد أنكرنا قلوبنا"، ويختص النبي –صلى الله عليه وسلم- ببعض الخصائص م
